The ‘Asia 3′ Tour is nearly over now, and what a tour it’s been! However, we have two shows left on April 14th and then on April 21st – Check out the gig list to the left!

We have now released the video to our most Pop-Tastic of songs ‘Rock N Bangkok’ – By far the most ‘poppy’ song we’ve written, we were thrilled with the reaction to this when we played it live on the last tour.

What an amazing tour so far!!

The China leg has been extended to include shows in Tianjin, Jinan, Weihai, Qingdao and Shenzhen. As details come in they’ll be on www.goobergun.com

We have also booked shows in Singapore, at The Beer Market on 23rd March, and POW on the 24th

After that will come Taiwan! – We have been booked for the great Spring Scream, as well as shows at The Brickyard and Red Wolf!

Later in the year we’ll be hitting Vietnam again – All in all a rather splendid time!!

U.K. alternative pop rock group Goober Gun will play in Thailand and China in February and March as part of their Asian tour, part 3!
The band will bring stadium sized songs and great harmonies together with a full on, utterly engaging and energetic live performance with shows in Khao Lak, Phuket, Pattaya, Macau, Kunming, Changsha, Wuhan, Chongqing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Beijing, with many more to be announced.

The tour will also include shows in Vietnam, Singapore and Taiwan. Dates will be confirmed soon.

The band’s influences include Jimmy Eat World, Def Leppard, Carpark North, Cheap Trick and The Wildhearts. Goober Gun headed off on their tour of Asia in October 2010, and again in April 2011, playing multiple tours of Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore and China, including the Chaoyang Pop Festival in Beijing.

A new CD – Hybrid – will be released for the tour, and includes the first recording of the huge fan favourite ‘Answers’.

UK SHOW

NEW CD

We will be releasing a brand new CD in early 2012. The recording is currently being finished, Paul is recording guitars in Taiwan and Ian and Tim will be laying down some vocals on their return to the UK this December.
More details to come, but we can reveal are tracks are, in no particular order – ‘We Are The Kids’, ‘Answers’, ‘Some Girls’, ‘On The Beaches’ and ‘Soldier Girl’

New videos have been recorded for ‘On The Beaches’ and our previous single ‘Rock N Bangkok’ – these will be released to coincide with the new CD.

ASIA TOUR 2012

The Goober Gun ASIA 2012 tour begins in January – Shows have already been booked for Taiwan, Thailand, China and Vietnam. We’ll be making a full tour announcement soon, with details on all the shows!

Here’s the big news for Goober Gun fans in Asia AND the UK!

We’re happy to announce that on Sept 14th guitar player PAUL DYMOTT will be flying out to Asia to join Goober Gun!
Paul is sure to add to our Power Rock Pop Punch and exciting times are ahead….We can’t wait to begin writing, recording and rehearsing for what will be our 3rd full tour of Asia. Some amazing shows have already been booked and lined up, and the tour will kick off in January 2012 – More news soon…

For people in Taiwan, look out for a few sneaky pre-tour gigs in the coming months… We think shows in Taiwan are best way to get warmed up!!

We’re pleased to say that every Sunday night GOOBER GUN ACOUSTIC will be playing at GaGa, Chiayi, Taiwan. It’s free entry and we’re on stage at 10.30

New shows!! – GOOBER GUN ACOUSTIC – Every Wednesday and Saturday @ The Red Wolf, Tainan – Starting Saturday 6th August!!
